2012 I.O.L.l. Lace Contest -

Star of the North - From the twinkle of an idea to a sky of lace
The 2012 contest theme is "STAR" All entries must have at least one 5 or more pointed starwithin the design of the lace. If the star is not obvious, the lacer must place a note on the entry form indicating where the star can be found within the lace.Minnesota (MN) information background:

The state's name comes from a Dakota Sioux Indian word (Native American tribe) for "sky-tinted water" and refers to local rivers.
