I have been using the computerto draft patterns for old lace.  Thislace was made by the late CatherineStirrup of Florida.  I analyzed the lace and drafted the pricking below.The first diamond is filled with halfstitch ground.  The second diamondhas a compound spider.  The diamondsare surrounded by rosepoint.Ms. Stirrup worked two different sewingedges on this sample.  The left edge isa whole stitch with two passives.  Theright edge is cloth stitch with threepassives.Threads:Linen 40Gimp - DMC Perle cotton 5
