What will be changing?    Here is an overview:

Updates and restatements have been made about the duties of the President, First Vice President, Treasurer, Recording Secretary, Membership Chairman, the Book and Periodical Librarian and the Parliamentarian.

A change was made to the composition of the Budget Committee.   The First Vice President was added as a member.    Changes and restatements were made about the duties of the Finance Committee and the Bylaws Committee.    The Grant Committee has been renamed the Grants Committee, since more than one grant fund is now administered by this committee.     There is also a new Standing Committee, the Proficiency Program for Lacemaking Committee.

The sections in the Election article were re-arranged to make more logical sense.    Article XII, Section 1 now specifically states that the chairmen of the Grants, Education and Proficiency Program for Lacemaking committees are included as members of the Executive Board.

In addition to these changes, there were some grammatical and spelling changes made.   Please check the proposed revised bylaws for the full details.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Thank you,
